Prefix Injury

Background
Soybeans were scouted at the V3 growth stage and stunted growth along with yellow and brown discoloration of leaves were observed. A pre-herbicide was not applied.
Conclusion
This issue was confirmed by an NC State Extension Specialist as Prefix herbicide injury. In this environment, the cool temperatures following planting could have synergized symptomology. Symptoms associated with Prefix herbicide injury include plant stunting, chlorosis, necrosis, and puckering of leaves.
